Welcome to My Bible Path. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

1. Description of Service

My Bible Path is an iOS application that provides curated Bible reading journeys, Scripture text (King James Version), and an AI-powered Bible study tutor. The app is available in both free and premium subscription tiers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use My Bible Path. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account

You may sign in using Apple Sign In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

My Bible Path offers a free tier with limited access and a premium subscription ("My Bible Path Premium") that unlocks all journeys and AI Tutor features.

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store.
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

5. AI Tutor

The AI Tutor feature uses OpenAI's language models, accessed through our secure server-side API, to generate responses to your Bible study questions. Please be aware that:

• AI-generated responses are for informational and educational purposes only.
• Responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Always verify important information against Scripture.
• The AI Tutor does not represent the views or doctrine of any specific church or denomination.
• Your messages are sent to OpenAI for processing via our server-side API. They are not permanently stored or used for training by My Bible Path.

6. Scripture Content

My Bible Path includes the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, which is in the public domain. Curated journey content, editorial commentary, and app design are the intellectual property of My Bible Path.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or servers
• Use the AI Tutor to generate content that is hateful, harmful, or misleading
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app's content without permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and other materials in My Bible Path (excluding public domain Scripture text) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute app content without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

My Bible Path is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The AI Tutor is not a substitute for pastoral counsel or professional theological guidance.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Bible Path and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
